Behind the scenes and ways of working... The design process can take unexpected turns. When we started working on the upcoming @mwbewick book of poetry, we mocked up some covers using Dymo tape for lettering. In our digital age, its DIY and lo-fi sensibility looked like an option. We even have some test samplers where it's used. Then we started to see Dymo being used in other places for other brands. It's always so interesting how disparate minds can arrive at the same idea at the same time. So, while it didn't invalidate the use of Dymo, it wasn't taken forward into our final designs.
